Gandy Dancer State Trail

This hardpack limestone trail skirts lakes, bogs and cattail marshes near Siren, crosses a high bridge over the Yellow River near the northern end and passes through small towns every three to four miles providing numerous places to rest and refresh.

The trail passes through small towns and rural landscape from St. Croix Falls to Danbury in northwestern Wisconsin.  Check out the Frederic Depot, a restored train depot with bathrooms, water and other facilities for cyclists.
